• Despite a limited racing schedule throughout Victoria this season, Bendigo based racer Brenten Farrer will enter the 2024 Australian Pro Sprintcar Championship, presented by Dirt X Ind, full of optimism as the Championship returns to his home state for the first time since 2020. This season Brenten has concentrated his racing program in Western Australia, but he will return to the Avalon Raceway for the first time this season with one thing in mind, to capture that elusive Australian Title.

Brenten has already had the privilege of carrying the #1 on his immaculate Maxim race car, but that was as the Victorian Champion, so next weekend Brenten would love nothing more than to run the number 1 once again, but this time as the National Champion.

Over his career Brenten is a seven-time Allstars Series A-Main winner, a former Series Champion, and a dual State Pro Sprintcar Champion so his previous record suggests that he has a strong chance to become the fifth Victorian to win the Australian Pro Sprintcar Championship.

“Avalon always turns it on. I’m really looking forward to getting after it. There are some really big hitters entered so hopefully we can take it up to them. We have a fresh Maxwill power plant so I will be trying. We are sitting out the Victorian Title this weekend so we will be primed and ready for the Australian Title. As I said I’m really looking forward to it” he added in an enthusiastic manner.

Going into the weekend Brenten is also the current Victoria #3 in 410ci competition after finishing on the podium in the State Championship at the Simpson Speedway early last month.

The 2024 Australian Pro Sprintcar Championship will be held between April 12 & 13, 2024 at the Avalon Raceway in Lara and it will be proudly presented by Dirt X Ind.
