It was not the result Bryden Southwell was looking for, but at the same time he was far from disgraced in the WA Junior Sedan Title, which culminated on Sunday night.

Southwell qualified on the fourth row for the twenty five lap A Main, however he would last just nine laps, forced to retire with a flat tyre.

Southwell had made his way to sixth position and was in a great battle for fifth position when a restart was called and the tyre deflated.

Earlier in his final qualifying heat, Southwell would finish fourth, behind Drew Flatman, Chelsea Gwynne and Jye Irving.
