Nyora Raceway kick starts their new season of motorsport this Sunday October the 22nd with the annual Camp Quality Day raising funds and awareness for the great family camp that looks after families working through life with a family member suffering cancer.

Race drivers have been given the opportunity to have a full race day including heats and finals with the Victorian Mini Sprint Club scheduling a series round at this meeting and the Victorian Wingless Sprints coming onboard for a race meeting.

Local members in various other classes will take advantage of the day to test and tune their cars before they get into the blue ribbon race season ahead.

The Wonthaggi Motorcycles Series for the Mini Sprints has attracted the likes of Darren and Owen Schnoor, Jason Lynn and Andrew Burleigh who all ran towards the pointy end of the field last season, some newcomers join the ranks also as the class continues to build on their rich history.

Wingless Sprint competition will include Wayne Logue, Luke Schneider along with Warrick Taylor likely to be at the front of the field with many of the newer drivers to the class taking the opportunity to get some track time away from some of the experienced competitors from west of the Westgate bridge.

Competitors with Dirt Modifieds, Unlimited Sedans, Sports Sedans, Standard Saloons and Junior sedans have all nominated to have a go and there should be some very quick laps turned.

Action begins at 10.30 on the 22nd October with gate proceeds going into Camp Quality. If you have enquiries call 0408 076 965 Entrance prices $20 for an adult, Kids 12 to 16 are $10 each whilst all other children are free, Pensioners are $10 & a Family ticket is $50 for 2 adults and three 12 – 16 kids & others less than 12 in age.
