  • Speedway livestreaming company, Clayperview has endured a “tough night at the office” last Saturday for broadcasting the opening night of Northline Speedway’s Chariots of Thunder Series.

    Half an hour prior to the livestream being launched, the system was abruptly shut down by a tripped fuse, and on reboot, threw the computer system into chaos, losing the replay system and also damaging the audio transmission.

    The broadcast did enjoy clean transmission for the majority of the event however, receiving encouraging feedback from viewers. Unfortunately, the pre-programmed transmission cutoff at 11:30pm (Darwin time) did not take into account the event schedule running two hours overtime, and subsequently the broadcast was interrupted for approximately five minutes before returning for the remainder of the final race.

    Currently the system is being completely rebuilt as a result of the damage sustained by the abrupt shutdown, and will be fully functional and ready for this Friday night and the remainder of the Chariots of Thunder Series.

    The CPV broadcast will begin at 6:00pm Darwin time, (6.30pm EST, 4.30pm WST) and will include the Chariots of Thunder Sprintcars with 31 cars nominated, Wingless Sprint NT Title, Street Stocks and Formula 500’s.
