• Sydney Speedcar racer Aidan Corish is bringing one of New Zealand’s most explosive drivers to drive the team’s second car this Saturday night at Valvoline Raceway.

Mosen, the 2015 NZ Champion, will saddle up in Corish’s second Spike / Esslinger combination and take on the might of the Parramatta Posse.

“We’ve actually been talking about this for a while,” Corish explains, “since Christmas actually. It wasn’t until about May that we looked like locking down some sort of a deal but now it’s all happening this weekend. I’m excited that we’ll have him in the car.”

Mosen will drive the team’s second car with Corish belting into his beloved #87 IGA Plus Liquor St. George’s Basin Spike.

“We’ll see how this weekend goes but we do have some plans to get Brad back if we can get the dates worked out,” says Corish, “there are some of the NZ dates that clash with ours so we’ll see what we can arrange outside of those perhaps.”

Mosen is no stranger to Valvoline Raceway and competed with gusto in last season’s historic 75th Australian Speedcar Championship presented by Rod Bowen’s Prestige Smash Repairs.

He was looking to be a certain top five finisher when fellow Kiwi Hayden Williams’ car stalled in front of him after tangling with Alex Bright and he rammed into the rear of Williams.

Miraculously for Williams and Bright the duo restarted from the inertia but the contact left the hapless Mosen stalled and stranded in turn two.

That incident forced Mosen to the rear and took the sting out of his title bid.

This Saturday night Brad will look to exact some revenge and add some real sting to the already impressive Speedcar ranks at VR with the support of IGA Plus Liquor St. George’s Basin, Esslinger Engineering, American Tire & Racing Services, FXD Workwear and Graham Racing Developments.
