  • The All Star Series loves to recognise their teams and again get the opportunity to do this with current Series Champ Scott Bogucki running in the States at Knoxville Raceway.
    For the past couple of season’s Scotty has flown to the States to crew and expand his overall knowledge on car set up etc. This season he now has the opportunity to compete at Knoxville running in the 410 division and live a dream he has had for years.
    With a new J&J chassis owned by PK Racing based in Altoona, IOWA, Bogucki ran his 2nd show last weekend. In his first 410 run the weekend prior he timed 36th and finished 6th in the B Main.
    Improving on that last weekend he timed 16th, ran 2nd in his heat and started 16th in the A. Unfortunately car issues forced him to pull in after 11 laps and he was classed as finishing 20th.
    “What a huge effort for Scott both weekends. We all know how tough Knoxville is and the speed the locals have there is so fast. For Scotty to qualify 16th – only 0.6 seconds slower than Justin Henderson is fantastic.
    We also know what a hard charger Scotty can be and the speed he showed last season was certainly impressive. We will all be following his progress and hoping he gets every opportunity possible.
    I believe the team are unsponsored at this point in time but hopefully someone will help out. Scotty plans on running at Knoxville thru till the Nationals.” Mandy Searle tells us.
