• The Sprintcar Gold Cup finale at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night should be a wide open affair.

All of the drivers will be going flat out to grab the $4,500 payout on offer, plus hopefully snare the AHG Triple Crown series title for another $2,500 in the bank.

Second in the three round mini-series earns $1,500 with the third placed man getting $1,000.

Looking good at the moment is Ryan Farrell with two straight victories, along with the WA Sprintcar Champion Jason Kendrick, with two second placings.

However with double points being awarded on the night, there are plenty of other chances for the series win.

Victorian star Jamie Veal returns in the #2 Krikke Motorsport hotrod and he raced up to finish third in his last run in this car.

Carl Dowling has been very consistent of late and holds down third spot in the standings ahead of Callum Williamson.

Others to watch include David Priolo, the Maiolo brothers - Jamie and Brad- the speedy Shaun Bradford, Ken Sartori and Lee Nash.

The 2014-15 season will definitely end on a high - be there on Saturday night to see who will triumph.

It's going to be a long winter - so this will be your last chance to get a Sprintcar fix.
