  • Speedcar Pro Series management is pleased to announce that the champion of the inaugural Speedcar Pro Series season, Dayne Kingshott, has signed-on as a contracted driver for season 2014/15.

    Dayne Kingshott – driving for Kingshott Racing - will be defending his title, commencing round one at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday 1 November 2014.

    “I feel lucky to be able to run this series - it's great to run all different tracks around the nation against some of the best drivers around,” said Dayne Kingshott, subsequent to signing his contract for the upcoming season.

    Kingshott has already expressed his eagerness to represent his hometown, Bunbury, and will be endeavouring to achieve a great result when the series heads to the Western Australian town.

    “I'm really looking forward to the Western Australian stint this year,” continued Kingshott.

    “Racing four nights in two weekends and of course, racing at my home track in Bunbury.”

    In preparation for season two of the Speedcar Pro Series, the crew at Kingshott Racing have been working overtime to guarantee that Kingshott’s speedcar will be raring to go come round one.

    “The car has been stripped down and it is currently in the process of being carefully rebuilt - it will have a new paint design for the new season,” stated Kingshott.

    The announcement of the defending Speedcar Pro Series champion returning is a major coup for the second season of Australia’s premier national speedcar series.
