JASON Pryde is going to be busy when rounds three and four of The Chase in the 2013-14 AHG Sprintcar Series at held at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday and Sunday nights.

The former Formula 500 racer and now rookie Sprintcar driver will be driving the Q51 in the AHG Series for the 410 division and the #69 machine in the 360 Power Series.

Driving two cars each night means a lot of racing but something that Pryde has already done, with success, a couple of times this season.

He heads into the bout tenth on the leader board and a fair bit away from the top five drivers as far as points go but some strong performances could see him move up the leader board and finish what has been a busy season on a high.

In the first round of The Chase on March 15 Pryde finished the 30-lap Westernapolis in 12th spot which wasn’t a bad result considering the calibre of the field.

Last weekend he was eyeing off a top 10 finish in an even stronger field but the car faded on lap 27 of the 30-lap DiCandilo Steel City Silver Cup and he pulled infield.

It was a bitter blow considering he showed some good place in the fast-paced final, including claiming a best lap of 14.347 seconds.
