The Board and Management of the Premier Speedway Club have released the following information with regards to those patrons that attended the venue on Sunday April 17, 2022, for Night 3 of the Easter Sprintcar Trail.

Unfortunately, things did not go to plan last Sunday night, despite our eagerness to get Night 3 of the Easter Trail completed so that the points battle could well and truly be decided on track and that the 2021-22 season could be completed as we would have hoped.

Since Sunday the Management and Board have worked through a number of scenarios and costs associated with the rain out, being conscious of the fact that The Late Models and Super Rods completed a number of their heat races – as were scheduled – for the start of the program, while the Profire Pyrotechnics Fireworks display was also provided as the Board and Management waited to determine if the weather would lift at all so that racing could resume.

Despite some commentary to the contrary, the meeting was not firmly cancelled until the completion of the Fireworks, when it was blatantly clear that no further racing was going to be achievable.

At this point in the program the Club was then committed to honour payments to Staff, Insurance, the Ambulance, The First Aid Providers, Security, Canteen Stock as well as being committed to payouts as per discussions with all three racing divisions. This included honouring Premier Speedway’s share of the Overall Easter Trail points fund to the Top 3 in the Easter Trail points.

The Premier Speedway Club would like to sincerely thank those patrons that have touched base and advised that they will not be seeking a refund, a gesture that is not lost on the Club after a couple of tough years for everyone, not just the Speedway Club.

For those wishing to be refunded the following is what will be offered:

Pre-Purchased On-Line Tickets – Any Adult or Concession tickets as pre-purchased on-line will be entitled to a refund of $15 per ticket. This covers Adult GA, Adult with Terrace, Concession GA and Concession with Terrace.

This can be done by emailing details (be sure to include the name in which the tickets were purchased) to [email protected] prior to 3pm on Friday May 13, 2022.

Due to the structure of the on-line ticketing pre-purchased tickets will be the only tickets entitled to a cash refund.

Walk-Up or Box Office Race Day Sales - Any Adult or Concession tickets as purchased from the Box Office on Race Day will provided with a $15 On-Line Voucher for use at any Premier Speedway meeting up until December 20, 2022. This covers Adult GA, Adult with Terrace, Concession GA and Concession with Terrace.

This can be done by returning valid tickets to:

Alternatively, tickets can be returned to the Premier Speedway office at 10275 Princes Highway, Allansford between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays up until 3pm on Friday May 13, 2022.

One Day Pit Licenses – As a majority of patrons in the Pit enclosure are associated with Teams, the allocation of tow money etc. to the teams will be made. Only those patrons who purchased a Speedway Australia One Day Pit Licence will receive a $20 On-Line Voucher per Licence Purchased.

This can be done by returning proof of purchase/copy of licence sheet as issued and accurate contact details including name, email and contact number to:

Alternatively proof of purchase/receipt of Licence Sheet as issued and accurate contact details including name, email and contact number can be returned to the Premier Speedway office at 10275 Princes Highway, Allansford between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays prior to 3pm on Friday May 13, 2022.

As of 3.00pm on Friday May 13, 2022, no further refunds will be made.

The Premier Speedway Club Board and Management thank everyone for their understanding and acknowledge that a review of this procedure is required, and it is intended to have a clearer process in place prior to the 2022-23 season as we continue to work with the team at Trybooking to create a better customer experience.
