• The Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Stars Series wrapped up at Party Central Mildura last Saturday night in what can only be described as an emotional night. Series awards were presented, loyal Series drivers were acknowledged and tributes flowed to Mandy Searle, the All Star Team, racers, their families and supporters. Many tributes described the 200 strong gathering simply as the All Stars Family.

Closing out the record books, Rusty Hickman added his name by taking out his second Championship accompanied with the $10,000 series winners cheque.

“Back in Season 2020-21 he was the youngest driver to ever win the series and it was a very fitting way to close our story with Darren Hickman winning our first season and son Rusty Hickman winning our last season. That’s very, very cool.” Searle says. In his acceptance speech Rusty made a point of telling his Dad that now he was 2 time winner and Dad only 1. Darren did however take home the Crew Chief of the Year award which will give Rusty something to aspire to in later years.

Chris Soloman was presented with his second place trophy and was quick to acknowledge the support of his family and car owners Kristine and Brad Foster who gave him a great car at every event.

Taking out third place was current Australia 1, Mark Caruso. In accepting his trophy, Mark said he would have dearly loved to have made 100 shows like fellow competitors Phil Lock, Paul and Chris Soloman but the Series has always been something special and he’s been just happy to be part of it.

Major Sponsors Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers and Hoosier Tires Australia were thanked and sponsor contingency awards were presented
    The accolades went to:

The Party under the Stars was held in ideal, balmy conditions with a big screen to punctuate the presentations with digital memories of the series and tributes from around Australia and America including kind words from Tom Schmeh and Brooke Tatnell.

Many Thanks must be extended to Brian Byrnes who hosted the event, BBQ’d and provided enough food to satisfy the gathering, plus Wade Aunger who kept everyone hydrated with Methanol Moonshine slushies and gave a wonderful heartfelt speech, again highlighting the uniqueness of the evening, Series and All Star extended family.
Thanks everyone for a fantastic night and congratulations to everyone!!
