• The 2023-2024 Sprintcar Season for the Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria is shaping up to be one of the biggest on record with both the Open Sprintcar Series and the C&H Pro Sprintcar Series plus many Blue Ribbon events, The Max Race, Speedweek, Presidents Cup, Classic, the Victoria 410 and Pro Sprintcar Titles. Then throw in two of the countries main events the 2024 SCCA Australian Sprintcar Championship plus the 2024 SCCA Pro Sprintcar Championship.

The SRA are hoping all goes well to get this season’s racing underway as planned, after the last few seasons issue with Covid and then last season the weather prevented the season from starting till into the month of December all is looking good for a start in October.

The first event on the Calendar was to be the Avalon Raceway Jackpot Race but due to a lot of capital works going on at the venue the event was cancelled till all the work can be completed Fully. With any luck the event may be conducted at a later date.

Heartland Raceway will now head the season opener with the first round of the SRA Open Sprintcar Series on October the 21st before heading into the month of November that will see both the Open Sprintcar Series and the C&H Pro Sprintcar Series rounds being conducted.

The Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria will be visiting eight different venue this season, Heartland Raceway, Avalon Raceway, Premier Speedway, Portland’s Southern 500 Speedway, Wangaratta Speedway, Simpson Speedway, Blue Ribbon Speedway Horsham and a return to Redline Raceway Ballarat.

The SRA Open Sprintcar Series is scheduled to be conducted over twelve rounds this season while the C&H Trucking Pro Sprintcar Series is booked in for ten rounds. The SRA is pleased to have many of the last season partners already committed to be a part of these series events again this season already.

One of the disappointments of the 2023-2024 season was the announcement that World Series Sprintcars will not be going ahead this season, but the good news is that Speedweek will still be conducted and speedweek this season may have improved prizemoney on last season.

The Avalon Raceway Presidents Cup is always one of the major Blue Ribbon events that many national and international competitors look forward to each season before heading to Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic. All indications at this early part of the new season are that there will be some of Uncle Sam’s finest drivers booked to be in Australian for these events.
This season will see the running of the Sprintcar Control Council of Australia (SCCA) Australian Titles for both the Open Sprintcars and the Pro Sprintcar Titles in Victoria.

Premier Speedway will be hosting the SCCA Australian Sprintcar Title on Friday January the 26th & Saturday the 27th of January 2024 the week after the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic that is sure to have the best drivers in the country on hand for this event.

The SCCA Pro Sprintcar Australia Title (Formerly know as the SCCA 360 Sprintcar Title) will be held at Avalon Raceway on Friday the 12th & Saturday the 13th of March 2024. With so Much Pro Sprintcar Racing going on before and after the SCCA Pro Sprintcar Title in Victoria, again all indications are this will be a very hotly contested event. Southern 500 Speedway Portland will host the Victoria Pro Sprintcar Title the week before the SCCA Pro Sprintcar Title as well.

Twelve rounds of the SRA Open Sprintcar Series, one of Australia’s leading Series, and ten rounds of the C&H Trucking Pro Sprintcar Series that will now see improved prize money with $1000 to win each night. The Series will also include the very popular A Plus Powder Coating Triple Crown Series. Both Premier Speedway and Heartland Raceway have booked the SRA Open Sprintcar Series and the C&H Pro Sprintcars to be on the same card on three occasions.

Blue Ribbon events, galore throughout the SRA season and of course the Annual Sprintcar Easter Trail, Victoria is the place to be for the best in sprintcar racing for the 2023-2024 season.
