• The Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria inc. is preparing to launch into yet another exciting twelve round series taking in many of Victoria’s top speedways plus rounds across the border into NSW.

Arguably the most exciting point of the brand new season is the fact that the SRA is proud to welcome Eureka Garages and Sheds as the naming rights partner for the 20th consecutive season. This makes Eureka Garages and Sheds one of the longest standing partners in Australian speedway and the SRA is aiming to make this anniversary series something special to remember.

Since the 2003/2004 season Domenic Sabatino and his Melbourne based team at Eureka Garages and Sheds have been at the forefront of Victorian Sprintcar racing allowing the SRA to provide one of the most recognisable state-based series in Australia.

“The SRA are extremely proud of the relationship built between Domenic, Eureka Garages and Sheds and all of their hard working dealers and distributors across the south eastern parts of Australia,” said SRA President Ian Vale.

“To Domenic Sabatino and your team, the SRA salute you,” beamed Vale.

Once again, the Eureka Garages and Sheds Series will weave its way across Victoria between November through to March with twelve rounds scheduled to decide the Eureka Garages and Sheds Series champion.

The SRA have managed to retain most of the partners from last season while also securing a brand new partnership with G&C Forestry based in Hamilton. The SRA are excited to welcome Dane, Stacey and Michael to the Eureka Garages and Sheds Sprintcar Series and look forward to working with all new and returning partners.

Reigning series champion is South Australian Daniel Pestka who became the first SA driver to win the series while it was also a landmark moment in the Sprintcar careers of Pestka’s popular car owners Jamie and James Stark.

In the previous nineteen seasons of the Eureka Garages and Sheds Series there have been a total of nine drivers get their hands on the impressive prize pool including defending champ Daniel Pestka, Brett Milburn three times, Corey McCullagh, Rusty Hickman, Jamie Veal, Shaun Dobson, Matthew Reed with four of his seven overall series titles, Darren Mollenoyux and John Vogels with an impressive five series wins.

In other exciting development’s the SRA will be launching a social media page also with up to date information regarding race information, points, nominations and weather. The page has been developed to compliment the media stream already in place targeting over seventy media outlets in and around Australia and overseas.

The page can be found by searching Facebook for ‘Eureka Garages and Sheds Sprintcar Series 22/23’. Be sure to like and share the page to help the page grow and be a hub for all the latest news and developments regarding the Eureka Garages and Sheds Sprintcar Series.
