Kemble Aylett will be part of the biggest field of Super Sedans in two years, when he takes part in the second round of the Super Sedan Summer Series at the Tyrepower, Manjimup Speedway in the South West of Western Australia on Saturday.

Aylett had plenty of car speed at the opening round in Narrogin earlier in the month, however broken lift arm ended his night early.

Saturday will be a rare day event at the Manjimup venue, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, which has attracted seventeen entries, more than any event in the last two seasons.

“I am looking forward to getting down to Manjimup, which is normally really quick for Super Sedans, and it is great that there is a really good field. Everyone will need to step up if they are going to win this Saturday”, he said.

Aylett finished second and third in the two heats he contested in the opening round, being beaten by only a couple of car lengths in both, before retiring for the night.

In preparation for having to step up this weekend with the big field, Aylett has changed the set up of the car slightly to accommodate the big wide open spaces of the Manjimup venue.

This event will mark the last event the Aylett will contest in the Summer Series until February next year, as he embarks on a tour of Tasmania through the month of January.

Saturday will see each driver contest three heats each, prior to the twenty lap A Main.
