• The Speedway Sedans Australia, Mental Racewear, National Street Stock Title is just two weeks away with many drivers putting the final touches to their cars, before heading from all points of the compass, to the B &S Earthworks, Timmis Speedway Mildura.

One of the fourteen drivers from Western Australia is Paul Joss, from Collie, in the South West of the State, who ironically has performed extremely well in the far North of the State this season.

I started the season off winning my second Brett Johnson Memorial at Karratha, second in a borrowed car at Fenacing event also in Karratha, won the Fortescue, third in Pithara, sixth in the Brian Rose at Ellenbrook, won the Get Dirty For 30, and third in the WA State title, said Joss of his achievements this season.

Twenty seven year old Joss, will be driving a VY Holden Commodore in the National Title, and despite racing since his Junior years, this has been his first full season of competition.

Joss has never raced outside of Western Australia and is looking forward to the competition.

The competition and the driving style is second to none in Street Stock. I prefer to race the traditional way, but have won most of my races the opposite way, he said.

I love travelling and competing against different drivers, and If I could make the big dance and show car speed I would be happy, he added.

Paul Joss would like to thank the following sponsors:

    Collie Ridge Motel
