The Annual Sports Sedan Masters at Redline Raceway proudly supported by the Flying Brick Cider Co a Geelong based brewery is fast approaching and nominations are steadily coming in before the February 11th cut off time at 8pm. Already amongst the nominations are Jacob Drewett who has a victory this season in the class and Leigh Bourke who has been the standout Redline member driver in the class since its beginning.
Twenty plus drivers as of Friday afternoon are nominated with those nominations expected to rise above thirty by the time they close.
Competitors on race night will run three ten lap heats each if there is twenty cars that turn up to compete and a twenty five lap feature race upon qualifying if they are amongst the top twenty on points.
The top six drivers will compete in a shoot-out to determine start positions for the main event in which they will be competing for the $500 to win with money paid back down to tenth place and trophies for the top three and sashes for the top five in what is consider a blue ribbon event for Sports Sedans.
On top of the prize money, drivers may win prizes along the way, they can win multiple prizes.
