• The second round of the Parr Motorsports Premier Speedway Track Premiership was completed on Saturday night as a part of the Victorian Sprintcar Title which saw David Murcott complete back-to-back Title wins.

    Jamie Veal’s consistency, with two runner-up finishes behind James McFadden in round one and now Murcott in round two, sees him lead the way with 296 points. McFadden (292 points) sits in second, just four points adrift of Veal, with Jye O’Keeffe sitting third on 290 points, having also displayed some impressive early season form.

    Saturday’s win saw Murcott claim 150 points for the win as well as the bonus four points for the most laps led in the A-Main, this coupled with his 11th place finish on opening night now has him only 12 points behind Jamie Veal in fourth place, while rounding out the top five is 2018 Classic Champion Corey McCullagh with 280 points.

    With the 4th Annual Max’s Race being the next Sprintcar event scheduled at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool the battle for the Parr Motorsports Track Premiership is sure to intensify with multiple rounds of World Series Sprintcars (December 29 and January 1) as well as the three nights of the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic set to shake things up even more!

    As always interest in the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic is high, and two more drivers have entered to be a part of what promises to be another thrilling installment of the South West Conveyancing backed event.

    The East Coast Pipeline Racing Q7 of Robbie Farr is now entered for the Classic, which is arguably about the only ‘major’ the hard charging, former Aussie Champ is yet to secure!

    Farr has a best result of third in 2016 while having also showed his class to record a second-place finish in the Australia-America Challenge Cup on night one of the 2009 Classic behind that particular years Classic Champion Brooke Tatnell.

    In 2018 the Q7 entry finished 22nd in Friday’s A-Main before again making the Classic finale as a part of the Sunday night program, recording a 20th place finish.

    In 2019 The potent Cool Chassis, Garrett Racing Engines combination will have support from long time partners Hi-Tec Oils, Cool Chassis, Golden City Trucks, Vermeer, Australia Wide Group and Revolution Racegear.

    Joining Farr in the field will be another New South Welshman, Chris McInerney.

    McInerney who hails from Young pilots the KRE Powered Triple X and has been somewhat of a semi-regular visitor to Sungold Stadium over the past couple of seasons.

    Having finished 5th in the C-Main at this years Classic, McInerney will be looking for a strong qualifying night to set up his weekend.

    For the journey south, McInerney will be supported by C-Mac Concrete, Mad Harry’s Steel, YPC – Young Powder Coating and Tilmac.

    The 2019 47th edition of the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic will be supported by the following sponsors; Performance Racegear, KRE Race Engines, GJ Gardner Homes, The Lady Bay Resort and KFC.
