• The opening round of the Victorian Super Sedan Series will be held this Saturday night at the Heartland Raceway, Moama, with a quality field entered.

On top of the Victorian entries, three drivers from three other States have entered, no doubt getting track time at the venue which later this season will host the National Title.

The field includes Lucas Roberts who showed great car speed last Saturday night at Borderline Speedway, Mt Gambier at the 50th Anniversary event, with the five times State Champion looking to start the new Victorian season in great style.

He will not have it all his own way, with Mick Nicola Snr and Mick Nicola Jnr also in the field along with Ash Bergmeier. Nicola Jnr is the defending series Champion, having won three series, which has been going for 25 years. Kym Jury from South Australia who has already won a Feature Race this season, Sam Roza from Queensland and Darryl Moon from Bega, New South Wales are all making the trek to Moama.

    Racing commences at 6.00pm EDST
