The 2019 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic entry forms may have only just become available to potential participants, but it hasn’t stopped two of 2018’s A-Main qualifiers from nominating nice and early.

Having produced a career best qualifying night performance, which resulted in a sound 4th place finish, Peter Doukas not only made the Sunday night A-Main but also found himself in the privileged position of starting on the front row of a race he has grown up watching.

An eventual 10th place finish capped a great weekend for Doukas who will return to Sungold Stadium over the course of the 2018-19 season in preparation for another tilt at Classic success for his loyal band of local supporters including Warrnambool Locksmith’s, Giblin Family Homes, Lane Transport, South Coast Haulage, AKC Kitchens, P.T.S, Mona’s Concrete Pumping and Facet@124.

Joining Doukas as an early entry for the Classic, is none other than 2017 Classic Champion James McFadden who will return to be a major drawcard at the Classic behind the wheel of the potent Monte Motorsport, KRE powered W17 Maxim.

Daniel Trucking, GT Bobcat, T & D Wholesale, Aleabrax Systems, Camden Neon, Daimler Trucks Perth, Factory Kahne Shocks, Performance Racegear and KRE Race Engines will throw their support behind McFadden as he aims to join an illustrious group of drivers to have claimed two or more Classic wins.

All race fans are reminded that the anticipated launch of on-line ticket sales for not only the 2019 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic but every meeting of the 2018-19 season at Sungold Stadium is scheduled for October 22, 2018, with all interested parties advised to keep an eye on the Club’s website and social media platforms for more information as the date approaches.
