• Callum Harper has won his fourth Tasmanian Super Sedan Title on Friday night, at the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway, but he did have to over-come some stiff opposition on his way to victory.

Adam Beechey and Steve Latham would start the best for the forty lap decider, with Beechey getting the best of the start, but he spun while leading on lap six, while at the same time, Latham retired, putting Mick Nicola Snr, the defending Champion momentarily in the lead.

A great passing move by Harper, put the National Champion into the lead, ultimately a lead he would hold for the remainder of the race, but he would need to survive a few stoppages along the way.

Nicola Snr and Nichols would have a good battle for second place, and after the demise of Corey Smith on lap thirty, Beechey, who had fought back through the field found himself in fourth place.

Harper opened a small lead in the concluding stages, to claim his fourth title in six years. Mick Nicola would finish second, something he did back in 2009, while David Nichols would finish third, his tenth time on the podium in Tasmanian Super Sedan history. (that records account for)
