• With the dust barely settled following Corey McCullagh’s stunning 2018 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic victory, the Premier Speedway Club is excited to announce the continuation of two fantastic Classic relationships.

Having experienced the Classic as a major supporting partner of the event for the first time in 2018, Mike Nairn from Performance Racegear, was quick to offer a continuation of his amazing support for a second time ahead of the 2019 Classic, which as previously announced will enjoy the Naming Rights support of South West Conveyancing.

Performance Racegear, who provide race suits and equipment for some of Sprintcar Racing’s biggest names including James McFadden, Corey McCullagh, Marcus Dumesny, Lisa walker, Shaun Bradford, Luke Dillon, Jason Johnson and Kerry Madsen to name but a few, have invested heavily not only in the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, but also the sport in general having relocated from Western Australia, to a new Warehouse in Koroit (just west of Warrnambool), from which they can service all-of their valued clients in a professional and efficient manner.

The Performance Racegear Product is no stranger to victory lane either, with their suits having now adorned the last two Classic Champions as well as assisting Kerry Madsen to his past two Australian Championship triumph’s.

Joining Performance Racegear, and the previously signed Lady Bay Resort as supporting sponsors of the Classic for 2019 is Ken and Wendy McNamara from KRE Race Engines.

KRE have been supporting the Classic for many years now and again will be an integral part of the event in 2019.

“To have Mike and his team at Performance Racegear back on board for 2019 as well as Ken and Wendy from KRE Race Engines is just fantastic for the Classic as an event leading into the 47th running of the Classic next January”, Premier Speedway General Manager David Mills said.

“With South West Conveyancing having also re-committed as the Naming Rights Partner of the event, along with the Lady Bay Resort, it provides us with a terrific springboard to work with over essentially the next 12 months, we honestly couldn’t be more pleased to have these great companies and more importantly great people offering their support”, he added.

Performance Racegear joins the Lady Bay Resort and KRE Race Engines as returning supporters of the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic which will be held from Friday January 18 through to Sunday January 20, 2019.

    About KRE Race Engines:

The adage the harder you work, the luckier you get is an apt description of the team at KRE Race Engines. Ken and Wendy McNamara have progressed from essentially what was a backyard business to an ultra-successful fully dedicated workshop in the southern Brisbane suburb of Capalaba.

Renowned not only as a winning Speedway engine builder but also providing the V8 motivation behind the Red Bull Racing Australia and Tekno Autosports Supercar teams to name a couple.

Ken started KRE 20 years ago and the company evolved into building predominantly Sprintcar engines, before taking on the challenge of V8 Supercars.

Last year KRE built over 100 Sprintcar / Speedway race engines not including their V8 Supercars program. Ken still enjoys Dynoing all the Engines so he can keep an eye on how they perform.

KRE Race Engines have a full parts inventory system so they can keep track of stock and what parts each engine has in it. KRE Race Engines also work closely with their parts suppliers in the USA and here in Australia, to enable them to stock custom parts suited specifically to KRE Engines.
