A “Tin Top Treat” will be dished up at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway this Saturday night (October 28) as four sedan categories along with the Modlites take to the clay at the venues fourth meeting of the 2017/18 season. The Street Stocks and the Junior Sedans have already been a regular feature of the events so far, but this weekend will see the first appearance of the season of the Super Sedans.

Despite the field being a little smaller than expected the Super Sedans are still set to make an exciting season debut with the likes of current South Australian champion and current Australia #2 Dave Gartner from Penola taking on Paul Blenkiron, Kym Jury, Daniel Obst, Kym Hammerstein and Steve Schwartz.

For the second time this season the Modlites will be in action with 10 of the motorcycle engine pocket rockets currently nominated. Opening night feature winner Brian Chadwick will have increased competition this time around as regular Sprintcar racer Matt Egel returns to the driver’s seat of a Michael Brown owned race car. Regular front runner Danny Prade will also be hard to beat along with former State Champion Cory Hodgson, Scott Webb, Michael Cowland and Ty Forrestal.

The biggest field of the night will be the Street Stocks with close to 20 entries with all of the regular front runners being joined by a couple of the best from the Northern Territory including former NT Champion Justin Brumfield and previous Sprintcar racer Simon Spitzbarth.

The Junior Sedans will once again have a strong field and the young racers will be keen to make up for their rain out last Saturday night while the night will also include a number of Spirited Demonstrations from a healthy field of Super Modifieds / Vintage Sprintcars.

Gates open 3pm with action from 5pm Adults $15, Pensioners $15, Kids (age 13-15 yr old) $10, Family Pass (2 Adults and 2 Children) $40 Kids 12 & Under FREE.
