  • A quality field has entered for Saturday nights Stocktober event at the Kalgoorlie International Speedway, which has also attracted interstate drivers, Darren and Megan Forrest.

    After the opening night of the Kalgoorlie season was totally washed out, Saturday night will be the opening night of a big season.

    The husband and wife team will make their first trip to the Goldfields, but they will face some very stiff opposition, from Kalgoorlies Jack Barnewall, Peter Walker, Evan Wakefield along with Hamish Macalpine and Daniel Selleck.

    One other driver all of them will have to deal with is Collie driver Ethan Genev. Genev almost won last years Stocktober and finished third on Saturday night at the Quit Collie Speedway in an almost capacity field. Genev has always raced well at the Kalgoorlie venue and will be hard to beat on Saturday night.

    Racing commences at 7.00pm WST.
