  • Ute owners from across the Darling Downs are lining up in droves to get a free pass to Toowoomba Speedway’s “TBar Gets Ute-Ilized” event this Saturday.

    Hi-Tec Oils Speedway Events Manager, Ben Bishop was excited about the new idea and giving Ute owners the chance to converge at the same event that features Ultimate Sprintcars, Late Model Muscle Cars and Production Sedans.

    “The Ute culture in the Darling Downs is growing rapidly and this is a great way for Ute owners to come together at the same event and display their interest.”

    “In addition to offering a free pass to every Ute owner who brings a full paying adult passenger, we’ve also chosen ten great looking Utes from a heap of entries on our Facebook page that will carry our top qualifying drivers on a parade lap of the speedway before the main race on Saturday, so it will be a great spectacle for the crowd and a great reward for these Ute owners who’ve put so much effort into their cars.”

    To receive a free pass to the speedway event, Ute owners simply have to bring at least one full-paying adult in their street registered Ute to the check point at the venue on Wirth Road, Charlton. All forms of Utes are welcomes, including 4WD, 2WD, flat trays, crew cabs, and dual cabs.
