• Ahead of what is going to be a huge 2017-18 season in 410 Sprintcars, Grant Anderson would like to welcome on board his two main supporters in Latrobe Valley Bandag and WASP Steering & Suspension.

Long-time main sponsor Latrobe Valley Bandag, based in Morwell, Victoria, has once again decided to continue their support of Anderson, having initially joined the team in 1993, along with other returning sponsors D&F Racing Products, Foster Chassis, Fuchs Lubricants, Bockman Batteries, KRE Race Engines, Middy’s Data & Electrical, and the Anderson family business: Townsend Service Centre.

Having teamed up with Anderson Motorsport as their joint main sponsor last season, a range of WASP Steering & Suspension parts are currently distributed by Austral Distributing, which has three branches located in Melbourne (Vic), Sydney (NSW) and Brisbane (Qld).

“It’s great to be welcoming back Latrobe Valley Bandag back for what will be their 24th season as a part of our team, along with WASP Steering & Suspension coming back on board for their second season with our team,” commented Anderson, who resides in Albury on the NSW-Victoria border.

“Without of all the continued support we receive from our sponsors, we simply wouldn’t be able to run at the pointy-end of the field, so I honestly can’t thank them all enough.”

Planning to contest a similar schedule to last season in 2017-18 season aboard his Vic # 37 Latrobe Valley Bandag and WASP Steering & Suspension backed Cool chassis, Anderson will be based between NSW and Victoria, contesting selected Eureka Garages & Sheds Series rounds in Victoria and selected Valvoline Raceway in NSW appearances, along with the Grand Annual Classic at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway in Victoria, the Australian Title at Mount Gambier’s Borderline Speedway (SA) and the Easter Trail in Victoria to close the season.

Anderson will make his 2017-18 season debut on the Saturday night of September 30 for the opening round of the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship NSW at Sydney’s Valvoline Raceway.
