• Redline Raceway this Saturday night will entertain with a great field of entries for all the local heroes and a couple of regular visiting divisions too, it will be nonstop action as drivers vie to for the right to earn that traditional ‘Redline # 1 sticker’.

    The AMCA National field are also competing in round three of the Barry Reidy Memorial and will provide sensational V8 action with Chev’s versus Holden V8 power. Shane Cartwright from New South Wales and Jeremy Moore from South Australia join the likes of the Mills Boys, Bill Lodwick, Paul Sullivan and Dean Heseltine in competition. It is a tough winner to pick although; Heseltine by virtue of his numerous wins this season stands out as a likely winner.

    Open Sedan’s entries include Ricky Ashmore and Corey Knox who have won finals at Redline this season whilst a number of challengers within the entry list include Lucas Conder, Phil Lepoidevin and Timothy Hutchinson.

    Street Stock competition will produce their usual three and four wide action with Brad McClure making a visit to one of his favourite tracks as the season winds down. Jason Degoldi, Darryl Atkinson, Nevano Cowan, Mark Purdie, Shaun Henry and David Barrie. Whoever earns the coveted sticker will have earnt it, that’s for sure.

    V8 Thunder Sedan racing will see the return of Mick Rizzoli and Greg Raggatt and they will be up against Tim McCubbin and Kieran Brennan Jnr, the actual will be fast at the front, McCubbin the early favourite.

    Victorian Champion Jason May in the SDAV Hot Rods leads Stan Marco, Shannon Meakins, Kali Hovey, Russell Hovey and a great field of racers in the Hot Rod track championship.

    Craig Templeton leads a great field of Standard Saloons that includes Ben and Tim Hutchinson, watch for Cory Horter now that he knows his car can get around a race track fast without ploughing through concrete walls.

    Marsh Modified Sedan action will pit Garry Kakoschke up against the Knight family with Tim leading Greg and Stewart to battle, watch for Aaron Bunton a well established racer joining the field for the weekend.

    Finally the Mini Sprints close out their Wild West Shootout Series with just nineteen points separating the top three competitors as they enter the last round. Brad Lowe from Geelong, has the lead with Jason Lynn and Owen Schnoor snipping at his heels, can Lowe hang on? We will find out on Saturday night.

    Gates open to the public on Saturday at 1pm with racing from 3pm, prices for this meeting are adults $20- Aged & Disabled Pensioner $15, kids 5 to 15 years of age al at $5 each, whilst under 6 years of age is free & a family of 2 adults and 3 kids at paying age, $50-.
