Nyora Raceway this coming Saturday night will play host to a round of the Victorian Speedcar (Midgets) Southern Series sharing top billing with the 'Moe Recyclers' Victorian Ladies Standard Saloon title where one woman will earn the right to have her car adorned with the number one roof plate for the next 12 months.

A healthy field of Speedcars has entered the show with many of the drivers having cut their teeth in Karts, Juniors and Mini Sprint racing at Nyora Raceway in years gone by, before stepping into what is considered one the top class categories in the world of Speedway, the Midgets.

Paul Farrell, Mitch Whiting, Luke Ferguson, Toby Smith & Amber Ghent in particular have a history with the host club and it just so happens that for Farrell and Whiting, they are amongst the feature race favourites based on form and history in the class. They will have their hands full with Travis Mills, Nick Parker and Ashley Booker in particular trying to secure a win on what Paul and Mitch consider their playground.

In the 'Moe Recyclers' Ladies Standard Saloon state title there are seventeen Ladies competing, with Kelly McDermott a possible favourite based on her recent success at the venue winning the ‘Skirts in the Dirt’ feature. Hanna Domburg, Nicole Vaughan, Tegan Bullard, Tracey Ingram and current champion Kellie Latham all likely to make this one of the hardest fought titles seen.

Local Ladies are out to make things tough for the visitors with Allana Ardley, Danielle Ardley, Hayley Hutchins, Debbie Hickson, Sarah Price & Vicky Maddock set to mix up with the visitors. Price and Hickson in particular have had some good results against the some of the entrants.

Also on the program are VSC Open Sedans and VSC Junior Standard Saloons.
