Goulburn Valley Auto Club once again are looking forward to a wonderful nights racing this coming Saturday December the 10th when they play host to the Victorian Compact Speedcar title with local competitors from the Goulburn Valley sure to figure in the thick of the action up against some of the best drivers from around Victoria, New South Wales & Queensland.

Sprintcar action also returns with the Victorian Sprintcar Association returning to town. Most of the drivers are from Gippsland in this division at the moment, drivers such as Shane Steenholdt, Bobby Daly whose won twice this year already & Adam Greenwood who took the most recent feature race win also is a keen potential winner at Rushworth.

In the Compact Speedcars, Louis Rodriguez & Geoff Meyers in particular whom are members of Goulburn Valley look forward to plying their skills on Rushworth Raceway against the likes of Wayne Corbett a strong Queensland competitor & current Victorian champion returning to defend his championship win, Keith Astrella, Justin Paull & the Hutchinson lads Butch & Mark are also threats this weekend. The title race is sure to be exciting with no clear stand out heading into the event.

Local competitors in the Sedans will continue delivering the thrilling competition they have so far this season, Adam Box who won two weeks ago is keen to double up, however Phil Lamb who is yet to win this season is keen to get back on the top rung of the podium. The Wicks family Hyundai is back with both Michael & Carlie potential drivers & there are a number of drivers setting themselves a goal of finishing in the top three.

For Production Sedans the club champion Leigh Jeffrey returns to the wheel & last start winner Wayne O’Keefe is keen to collect a second trophy in two weeks. Returning to Rushworth Speedway action Gavin Cooper & Rahmon Rivero are keen to set the cat amongst the pigeons.
Chloe Lamb was challenged at the last meeting in GV Ladies Saloons by Jacquie Fitzpatrick who was particularly strong in heat racing.

Fitzpatrick & all the girls are keen to get one over Lamb who has one the two meetings so far whilst the Junior Sedans battle between Josh Cecil and Lachie Fitzpatrick will continue & picking a winner is to tough, Daniel Smith, Kodye Basten and Tristan McGraw will all perform well.

Racing begins at 4pm with entry costs adult $25, Family of 2 Adults and 2 Kids $60 whilst any child under 12 is FREE. Aged Pension is $15 or you can take out a club membership for the season and pay $12.50 for adults at each meeting or $30 for the family ticket.
