American superstars racing at Valvoline Raceway this season won’t be limited to the USC with Ross and Ben Nicastri from 399 Motorsport announcing a very big signing for two dates over Christmas.
Explosive USA Late Model racer Devin Moran will take the wheel of a brand spanking new ACM Parts Barry Wright Racecar on December 30 and January 3.
The second-generation wheel twister will join Ben Nicastri as part of a two-car team for the two Sydney dates in a move that has both Ross and Ben understandably excited.
“Devin’s in spectacular form right now in the US,” says Ross Nicastri, “he’s going to be racing in Australia with a fantastic home season under his belt. We can’t wait for him to get here.”
Moran, son of the “Million Dollar Man” Donnie (a living legend of the sport) will drive virtually the same package as he runs back in America – a state of the art Barry Wright Racecars chassis.
“All the equipment we have for Devin is the equivalent to what he runs back there, he’ll be immediately familiar with his gear and fast right out of the box I’m sure,” says Ross.
Moran has run at Valvoline Raceway previously and finished on the podium so familiarity with the track won’t be an issue either.
Ben Nicastri will also campaign a new Barry Wright Racecar for the new season in what it’s hoped will be his best season yet.
“Ben’s determined to make this a landmark season,” says proud Dad Ross, “we’re hoping that by the time Devin arrives we’ll have Ben dialed right into his best form. It’s an exciting time for Jenny and I and everyone at 399 Motorsport.”
Devin Moran will drive the ACM Parts #3 at Valvoline Raceway on Wednesday, December 30 and Tuesday, January 3.
“Dirt track fans will see someone who is a real class act in his field” grins Ross, “I strongly recommend people come out and watch this guy when he runs against the NSW guys over Christmas in Sydney.”
