It's almost the end of the season at Redline Raceway & as is tradition the track championship day is one of the last two meetings to close out the year & healthy numbers have nominated in all club classes & the visiting AMCA division that will being great entertainment to race fans this Saturday night.

Sean Lister fresh off his recent second place finish at the Unlimited Sedan state title will lead the nominations in the division where there is sure to be a great stoush between he & a number of competitors. Lucas Condor, Des Birkin, Phil Lepoidevin, Leigh Bourke, Nathan Fawns, Craig Phillips, Corey Knox & Matt Chimminello representing mostly the areas of Greater Geelong & Ballarat will all be looking to keep Lister at bay.

The V8 Thunder Sedan battle is still Anthony Wilson versus the rest. Steve Hodder is back behind the wheel of his machine & he, Steve Forte, Wally Hucker & the rest have this one last serious chance to get a win over the stormin' Ballarat based competitor Wilson.

Brothers Jamie & Matt Mills along with Bill Lodwick the top three at the last Redline race meeting are back with the AMCA field however this time multiple times former national champion Mark Lincoln is an inclusion this time as is Jamie Collins who had victory on top at Redline in recent seasons. Lincoln & Collins will be looking to assert themselves as they are two of the nation’s best drivers, whilst Matt Mills would be looking to get one over his brother.

The Standard Saloon state title was just held this past weekend & some of the stronger competitors join our regular locals to try to claim track championship honours. Brothers Matt & Paul Domburg of Portland lead Cathal McCaughey & Nathan Hutchins in a strong attack on the number one sticker with David Chivers, last meeting winner Patrick Walsh & Tim Hutchinson amongst those trying to keep the result in favour of the local contingent.

A small yet competitive Street Stock field gas nominated for the track championship with Mick Dann a recent New South Wales state title third place finisher leading what should be a great scrap between he, Shaun Henry, Jason Degoldi, Bhoe Patterson, Aaron White & David Barrie. Any of these drivers are likely to come out on top of a battle.
