• On November 7th Tolmer Speedway hosted the annual Battle of the Border, which had a strong field of 19 cars including the Australian 1 Dylan Willsher, local drivers Pat Merrett and John Stewart. Drivers from far and wide came to the bullring for the event and were supported by good numbers across the field in AMCA, Juniors, V6 Sprints and Late Models.

Dylan showed why he has the A1 on his car with a strong performance and winning the Battle of the Border feature in front of Brad Stell second and local Pat Merrett third. Trae Ballantyne won the Junior feature, the AMCA feature winner was Raymond Hedley.

Tolmer Speedway fires up this weekend (Saturday December 12) as they play host for the SA Street Stock Title which is the main event and will be supported by Wingless Sprints, Super Sedans and Junior Sedans which always provide good racing.

Anthony Beare will return to defend his crown as the current SA Champ. Anthony will have his hands full to retain the title with a 36 car field including NT 1 Justin Brumfield and Vic 1 Brad McClure making the trip to tackle the bullring.

Penola's Dave Gartner will be looking to continue his good start to the season with another round win on the weekend in the Super Sedans as round 8 of the JD Couriers Super Series rolls into town, with the round being supported by Tatiara Truck and Trailers.
