The Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series headed to Sonic Speedway, Swan Hill last night and saw Chris Solomon take a commanding victory. Solomon led from start to finish using lap traffic to his advantage. Young gun Dion Bellman was a model of consistency all night but had nothing for Solomon crossing the line in 2nd place.

Unfortunately at the post-race weigh in Bellman’s car was underweight. It was a big blow for the likable youngster who has been in scintillating form after picking up 2 heat race victories and a win in the pole shootout earlier in the night. Brenten Farrer and Phil Lock were having the battle of the night for the minor placings. Lap traffic played its part on the final lap with Farrer just edging his Frijtek V34 ahead of the V4 of Lock.

Paul Solomon capped off a good night for the Solomon brothers with a 4th place finish. Jed Bell has been very consistent as of late and continued his form crossing the line in 5th. Trigga Gates stayed out of trouble to cross the line in 6th with Corey Lincoln overcoming early Engine gremlins to finish 7th. Jack Gartner, Michael Holt, Shaun McClure and Justin Morris completed the finishers.

Rusty Hickman celebrated his 16th Birthday at Swan Hill and was showing good speed but unfortunately on a late race restart made contact with another car and flipped the second of the Hickman Motorsports J&J’s. He walked away the ACT40 sustaining minimal damage. Quick Time man Liam Williams pulled infield with 10 laps to go with engine troubles.
