• This Saturday night (November 28) the racing program at Speedway City has all race fans covered with a massive eight racing sections on the schedule ranging from the awesome Revolution Racegear 410ci Sprintcars to Junior Sedans in what should be an entertaining night.

Leading the charge in the 410ci Sprintcar Track Championship will be Steven Caruso who currently sits second on the score chart and the series points leader electing to race interstate Caruso will be keen to take full advantage and move to the top of the overall standings. Luke Bowey is another who will out to collect as many points as possible as he sits in fourth position after two rounds and he has shown impressive speed this season. Mark Caruso, who will be back in his open car this weekend after winning in his 360ci last weekend, will be another driver to keep an eye on along with Sam Putland, Keke Falland, Hayden Pitt, Ricky Maiolo, Aidan Hall and Brendan Quinn.

The wild card in the field would have to be dual South Australian Champion Matt Egel, who finished second earlier this month in the Australian Sprintcar Masters aboard the Downing Brothers #97. If everything goes to plan he may prove tough to beat.

The 360ci Sprintcars are also on the program with last weekend’s runner up Dan Evans heading the line-up. Evans is already a feature winner this season at Speedway City and he will once again be a serious contender along with Michael Lovegrove and Trigga Gates. Nicole Hill, Darryl Guerin and veteran Dennis Burford will also be looking for a strong result.

A competitive field of 13 Wingless Sprints will also front for action including all three previous Speedway City main event winners (Robert Heard, Jake Ashworth and Matthew Kennedy) along with a field of 8 Speedcars with the likes of opening night winner Ben Hall, Todd Wigzell, Brett Ireland, Graham Knuckey and Jamie Crouch all expected to be among the front runners.

After a short break the JD Couriers Super Series for Super Sedans returns with round 6 attracting the biggest field this season. Ryan Alexander, fresh from a fourth placed run at Sydney last weekend, will be joined by Michael Miller, Dave Gartner, Michael Brown, Daniel Obst, Graham Stewart and Jamie Agius in what should be a tough V8 tin top battle.

Rounding out the program will be the V6 Sprints, Street Stocks and Junior Sedans, with the last two categories being late additions to the program.
