  • BEN Ellement is going to add some excitement to the 2015-16 AHG Sprintcar Series with his return to racing.

    Ellement will be one to watch when his immaculately-presented W44 machines hit the track and he is definitely looking forward to getting back behind the wheel after a two-year absence.

    “I have been in out and a little bit, but I have definitely stayed in touch,” Ellement said.

    He said the time away from racing actually proved beneficial.

    “The last couple of years…has opened up other avenues in life and the business is going well and everything is going good.

    “I am looking forward to getting back into it.”

    The team has already being doing some testing and believes they will be up to speed.

    “I don’t think I have lost anything to so speak, but I think there are even gains there from having an absence from the sport, stepping back and having a visual approach.”

    The team has already been doing some off-season season and is ready to go racing with new KPCs, new components and new motors.

    “We are probably going to take every night as it comes, previously in racing I have been racing for a championship and racing to a points system but I think we are going to take each individual night as it comes and hopefully try and race for wins and go from there.”
