In addition to the three South Australian drivers already nominated a further five competitors have indicated they will be heading North from the Southern states to contest the 2015 HB Concrete Australian 360 Sprintcar Title including the current Champion Chad Ely. Last season Ely made a successful debut at the Northline Speedway in preparation for the upcoming Title and he has already made an early season trip north coming away with a podium result back in May.

Last Summer Ely spent time in both 410 and 360ci Sprintcars racing at various venues across the country, with the highlight being an end of season stint in the Lewis / Green #11. With Ely concentrating mainly on 410ci competition his 360ci appearances were limited but he still managed to secure a feature win at Whyalla, a runner-up in the prestigious Tyson Perez Memorial at Borderline and a fourth placed result in the South Australian Championship. It is without a doubt that Ely will be a major contender and a real threat to go back-to-back.

Fellow South Australian Dan Evans is already in Darwin and he has had immediate success with a win in the Northern Territory Wingless Sprint Title and a top five result in his 360ci Sprintcar. Over the past 12 months the Riverland based youngster has been one of the most improved in South Australia and as a result he was able to break through for his maiden A-main win last season.

Joining the South Australians for the Southern assault is three Victorian entries and with the nominations still open that number is expected to increase. Paul and Chris Soloman along with teenager Dion Bellman will represent the Garden State.

Paul Soloman is a former Allstars Series Champ and was a runner-up in last season’s Victorian Title while Chris Soloman had 5 top 5 results last season and is always a perennial front runner. Dion Bellman will driver for Bendigo based car owner and former Australia #2 Darren Hickman. Bellman finished 6th overall in his debut All Star Series campaign which included 2 podium results.

The HB Concrete Australian 360 Sprintcar Title will be held between Friday the 4th of September and Saturday the 5th of September 2015 at the Northline Speedway in Darwin (NT). Nominations close on Monday the 10th of August, 2015. For further details please visit www.scca.com.au.
