Motorcycling South Australia is thrilled to announce the 2015 Australian FMX and Speed & Style Titles will be held on Saturday 12 December 2015 at Murray Machining & Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway, Murray Bridge, South Australia.

The inaugural running of the titles in Tasmania last year received outstanding support from the riders and the local community.

“The opportunity to bring these high intensity and entertaining formats to South Australia is really exciting” says Chris McArdle, General Manager of Motorcycling SA.

“Murray Bridge and its surrounding areas provide a great playground for motorcycling, motorsports and water sport, so it is a great location to showcase the best of FMX and Speed & Style for 2015. The Rural City of Murray Bridge is extremely proud to attract the event to the region, which provides not only great entertainment for locals, but brings in valuable tourism spend through visitors to the region for the event.” said Mayor Brenton Lewis

The rider line up looks like becoming one of the hottest fields assembled in Australia, and although the full line up is yet to be finalised, a number of big names are wanting to be involved. In a great sign of the standing of the event, 2014 Australian Champions, Steve Mini (FMX) and Cameron Sinclair (Speed & Style) are intending to be back.

“The amphitheatre nature of the Murray Bridge Speedway makes it the perfect venue to watch all the action of FMX and Speed & Style. Speedway General Manager, Tim McAvaney and the whole club have been great to work with in negotiating the hosting of the event” said Mr McArdle.

Whilst initially a September date was selected to fit in with the various commitments that the Riders and the venue has, there was some trepidation that the weather could hinder the event. After much discussion with all parties, the new December date was selected, which will provide many benefits to riders, the competition and spectators alike.

Murray Bridge is just up the freeway from Adelaide, and presents a great opportunity to either make the trip up for the day, or come for the weekend.
