• This Saturday some of the biggest names in Super Sedan’s will be rippin’ around Brobenah Raceway as drivers battle it out to become the winner of the $5000 to win Long Track Classic, amongst the field last weekends winner from down the road at Wahgunyah Peter Nicola will be up against Mick Nicola Snr & Jnr, Lachlan Onley the current NSW champion, 2 times Australian champion Darren Kane from Queensland one of the best Super Sedan drivers Australia has ever had & Callum Harper from Tasmania a two times Tasmanian champion.

    Other drivers amongst the field that are likely to be in amongst the front of the field include Lucas Roberts & Tony Barklimore.

    The local lads are already predicting the one lap record won’t just be broken but it will be smashed. Committee member Danny Harrison is looking forward to the event under lights. “With the money we have thrown up, we are getting the best drivers from around the country, I cannot wait to see the likes of Darren Kane take on our track, it’s the fastest you will go anywhere in Australian Speedway”.

    The Production Sedan ‘Graham Bourke Memorial’ has attracted Rodney Anderson the Hutchinson lads from Dubbo, Wes Barnes also from Dubbo, a number of locals & Australia 2 & 3 both from Leeton’s club Wayne Bourke & Paul Whyte.

    The event is honouring Wayne’s father who passed on this season & with Bourkey having his best ever season he will be a huge form & sentimental favourite for the win.

    The Goulburn Oven’s Sedan Association Victorian title also shares top billing with Mick Pettit, Mark Gordon & Mitch Watts leading the charge for Leeton against a number of drivers registered with the Corowa Club coming up from around Corowa & Albury.

    Defending champion Wayne Williams, in form drivers Ross Maclean, Dave Walton, Danny McCarten & Thomas Bowers are all drivers to keep your eye on this Saturday night, one of them will become the Victorian Champion.

    Sports Sedans & Wilby Park Sedans are other divisions competing.

    Racing will begin from 4pm on the 30th of May costing $25 per adult ticket or $60 a family ticket two adults and three kids to the age of 16 with any child under the age of 14 free & aged/disabled pensioners $15.
