Blake Skipper enters the final four weeks of the Sprintcar Track Championship sitting in 15th place; a position that makes the talented racer from Kirrawee very happy.

This Saturday night, at Valvoline Raceway, Blake will do his very best to cement himself inside the top 15 along with chasing the extra prize money that is on offer in what is being hailed as the ‘money month’.

“I am super happy to be inside the top fifteen,” Blake said today, “even happier when you consider we were forty-fifth after the opening night,” he laughed.

“It’s going to be a tough and exhausting month of racing no doubt and I can't wait to get after it for 4 solid weeks. We have got so much going on and racing will just be a fun release for all of us. We want to be as competitive as we possibly can and we will be pushing for more consistent results.”

Once the racing in Sydney comes to a close at the end of the month, Blake and the team are heading to Queensland for the three nights of racing over the Easter weekend, and frankly, the impending off season couldn’t be further from Blake’s mind.

“Honestly I haven't thought about the off season to much been looking forward to racing in Queensland over the Easter period too much to worry about the off season. But as always it will be a good time to regroup and get back on top of our game for next season that's for sure.”
