This Labour Day weekend Redline Raceway will be dishing out the action on not one, but two nights with a Saturday night & Sunday night show to keep motorsport fans occupied over the long weekend with the show headlined by the Open Sedans for their annual 'Masters' event & the once a year visit to the venue by the Daylesford Speedway club with their club divisions having a go on Saturday & Sunday, Street Stocks also compete both nights with over thirty cars on both nights whilst the Mini Sprintcar club return for a series round on Sunday night.

In the Open Victorian Speedway Council Sedans show a great field has nominated with many potential winners amongst the list. Des Birkin whom won two weeks ago will be keen to continue his good form whilst he will be challenged by multiple experienced racers including Ballarat's Lucas Conder, Geelong racers Frank Dickson, Nathan Fawns, Leigh Bourke, Ballarat businessman Greg Raggatt who finished third at the last show, Joshua Brown & Alexandra duo Matt Chiminello & Tim McPherson.

The mixture of V8 machines & six cylinders with a variety of modifications makes for an intriguing event where it is absolutely possible the big tyres & engines could be out gunned by race rubber & six cylinders & it all culminates on Sunday night with the feature event deciding this years 'Masters' champion.

The Speedway Sedan Australia Street Stocks will as always be entertaining over the weekend with Luke Jenkins, Bhoe Patterson, Colin Forbes, Scott Purdie, last start feature winner Mark Purdie, Darren Forrest, Aaron White & Darren Paisley amongst a competitive field on both nights with a group of drivers evenly matched at the front of the field anything can happen in Street Stock racing.

On Sunday night a small yet competitive field of Mini Sprints will compete in a state series round with Victorian Champion David May looking to continue good form over the likes of Matt Parsons, Kevin Bomford & Owen Bulman. The Mini Sprintcars are slowly starting to rebuild numbers & they are sensationally quick around Redline Raceway with their mix of motorbike 1000cc engines & small car engines.

The venue is at 569 Yankee Flat Road Mount Helen with cars racing from 5pm both nights.

Fans can get a piece of the action for the cost of Adult $20 or $35 for a two night pass, Pensioners (Aged & Invalid) $15 each night, Children 6 to 16 yrs of age $5 both nights or a family ticket with two adults & 4 kids for $50 or $90 for both nights whilst any child under 6 is free.
