FINISHING fourth in Saturday night’s feature race and playing his Joker was enough to give Jason Kendrick the lead in the 2014-15 AHG Sprintcar Series points.

Kendrick rocketed from sixth to first courtesy of his double points haul.

Cameron Gessner was the leader heading into round 10 action and thanks to his second in the feature race, he was able to hold down second, having played his Joker at an earlier round.

David Priolo, who was a DNF after blowing a left rear tyre when leading on the last lap, is third in the points while Shaun Bradford, who was third in the 25-lapper and also played his Joker, has raced up from eighth to fourth.

Another big mover forward was feature race winner Jamie Maiolo who also played his Joker card and banked the maximum 300 points, moving up from ninth to fifth and in a good spot to pounce heading into the business end of the season.

The next round of the series will be part of World Series Sprintcars action at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday, February 7.
