Officials at Swan Hill & then Wahgunyah Speedways have voted two of the best looking cars in Australian Speedway as the winners of prizes made available for the best presented car & crew award by Xpress Batteries.

Firstly at Swan Hill officials voted the Alexandra Speedway Club registered Commodore of Morris Ahearn as their favourite looking car which complemented the team shirts crew were wearing.

Morris Ahearn has long been in in wonderfully presented race cars whether it be a 3 Litre Sedan, to a Standard Saloon he really takes pride on what the car looks like. Being friends with the Kouda Signs team helps & his brother Albert who owns the race car was only too pleased to use Kouda when recommended by Morris to do so.

The second winner really didn’t need to win anything else on the weekend after taking wins in both the feature events, yet Anthony Beare was voted by Wahgunyah officials in his South Australia # 46 car to be the best presented car & crew at that venues race meeting.

The Beare Crew have matching polo shirts they wear when assisting ‘Bearey’ working on the car & the # 46 Commodore never looks dirty when it arrives at a race track ready to rumble.

Both teams are a credit to the sport and their division & sponsors must be immensely proud to be associated with a team that takes as much pride as they do regardless of the win/loss ratio.
