• On the back of the recent announcement that 2014 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Champion Tim Kaeding will be back to defend his crown, two more previous winners have also confirmed their entries for the 2015 Classic.

The 40th Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in 2012 produced an amazing result, with New South Welshman Ian Loudoun holding off two battle hardened racers in Craig Dollansky and Kerry Madsen to claim the $40,000.00 40th anniversary prize pool.

In 2015 Loudoun will return to chase a second Classic crown, once again campaigning for the West Australian based Peet Motorsport aboard the W65 entry which will utilize a Maxim Chassis with the horsepower being supplied by a Maxwill power plant.

2015 will mark the second consecutive year that Ian Loudoun has campaigned the Peet Motorsport entry and team principal Shannon Peet will be looking to improve on the team’s 6th place finish in the B-Main last January.

Peet Motorsport will make the trek from the West with the fantastic support of Valvoline, Stingray Rocktools, Mako Mining, Martin Engineering, Bar Minco, Zitron, Lindquist Electrical and Scardifield Smash Repairs

Joining Loudoun in the seemingly endless pursuit of Classic glory will be another of the Sports young guns, already a two time Classic Champion – Steven Lines.

Lines who hails from Mt. Gambier in South Australian is of course the 2011 and 2013 Classic Champion, leading home Brooke Tatnell and Jason Johnson in claiming his first win before again proving the class of the field in 2013 when he out ran American Terry McCarl and Tatnell once again.

For his 2015 campaign Lines will again be running for another popular West Australian based car owner in Brian Hall, with the team enjoying the support of Halls Haulage, Bridgestone Tyre Centre Albany, Wilson Trailers, Holla-Fresh, Valvoline, Clarend Transport, CJD Equipment, Skwid Signs, Jig-G-A Ag, South East Conveyers, Carlin and Gazzard and SR Photos.

With regular, highly regarded, crew chief Craig Bennett twisting the spanners on the distinctive W3 KPC Chassis with a potent Morrison motor between the down tubes, Lines is sure to be one of the genuine contenders come the three night Classic extravaganza.

Joining Loudoun and Lines in the early Classic entry list is popular Victorian based hard charger Domain Ramsay.

The Victorian has been a long time Sprintcar campaigner and on his night has been known to display some amazing car speed, with the 2015 Classic and more broadly the 2014-15 season, seeing Ramsay again team up with Victorian car owner David Dickson.

Dickson, of course, was responsible for luring American Sprintcar Star Kevin Swindell to the Classic in 2014; while it is rumored he may have a part in some more exciting news as the Classic draws nearer!

For the Classic Ramsay will be provided with all the necessary equipment aboard the V3 machine with thanks to the Essendon Auto Group, Swan Insurance, Castrol and Lupton Builders.

Rounding out the most recent batch of Classic nominations is Tasmanian hard charger Mark House.

‘Mozzie’ as he is affectionately known has been a regular on the grueling World Series Sprintcars trail in recent times and knows all to well the level of commitment it takes to be successful at the top end of this amazing sport.

For the 2015 Classic State Wide Turbo’s and Toll Shipping are assisting in ensuring the first of the Tasmanian entrants is up for the challenge.

The 43rd Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic as supported by Oval Express Magazine, GJ Gardner Homes, KRE Race Engines and the Lady Bay Resort Warrnambool will be held at Premier Speedway on January 23, 24 & 25, 2015.
