Alexandra Speedway Club begin this Saturday from 4pm with a huge amount of motorsport competitors nominated to go racing with also a great amount of new competitors to racing or to the club also becoming involved where everybody from Junior racers, to mum's & dads get a go behind the wheel.

Alexandra is always a great family destination with opportunity to stay overnight if you’re not in a hurry to get home after racing or for those wanting to make a family day out on Sunday after racing.

In the national Junior Sedan division eighteen drivers will compete including most of last season’s competitors. There is a strong mixture of male & female drivers with kids coming from Traralgon, Hume City & the Eastern Suburbs to have some fun. Some of the new competitors include Rhiannon Campton, Kasey Garlick, Luke Dingley & Timothy Gorski who will be against some of Victoria’s better drivers such as Jackson Lunt, Cameron Pearson & Caleb Lincoln who compete with the best the state has often during the season.

Almost twenty competitors have nominated to compete in the Sports Sedans division whom will hold their state title at Alexandra during this season, just as they did last year. Matt Nelson the state champion will be up against, his father and mother Wayne & Sonia, local Alexandra race driver and the 100 Lap Derby 'King' Luke Fallon, Dale Smith, Damian Miller, Andrew Jordan & Tim McPherson.

The Standard Saloons, VSC Junior Sedans, Unlimited Sedans & VSC Open Ladies Sedans all compete providing a great night for all.

Racing starts at 4pm & gate prices for spectators are Adults $20, Aged and Invalid Pensioners $15, kids 12 to 16 $10, under 12 are free whilst two adults and two kids in the 12 to 16 aged bracket can get in for $50 with under 12 free.
