The Sprintcar Association of NSW’s season 2014/2015 calendar is beginning to take shape. Last night, Valvoline Raceway confirmed its schedule, comprising of 21 Sprintcar nights. There are also two dates for the Country Series with more to be finalised in coming weeks.

“We are looking forward to the new season starting,” SA-NSW President, Mark Richards said. “The drivers were happy with the list of dates given to us and now we are in the process of finalising a few more dates for the Country Series. Once this happens, we can announce the remainder of the schedule.”

Mark Richards has also reported that the nightly prize money for a regular club show is back up to $14,500 and the main event will pay $3,000 to win – one of the highest amounts paid in Australia. The International shows will pay a whopping $10,000 to win.

This summer, the 38th Sprintcar Track Championship will be contested along with the 35th Valvoline Australian Sprintcar Grand Prix and the 57th NSW Sprintcar Championship; three events that are coated in history.
