The Victorian Wingless Sprints have been busy in recent weeks finalising the 2014/15 season ahead & along with recent election results confirming a new leadership team a 38 race meeting calendar has also been confirmed with events at eighteen different tracks across the state of Victoria.

South Gippsland race venue ‘Nyora Raceway’ has been confirmed as the host of the one night show Victorian title & ‘Total Auto’s Pakenham’ has come onboard as the naming rights supporter to the title in which fifty race cars are highly likely to attend.

Once again three series will be run with a six round ‘Super Six Shootout’ formally known as the Parr Motorsport Series with rounds at Simpson, Portland, Avalon x 2 & Warrnambool x 2. Sponsorship will be confirmed over the coming weeks along with the structure.

The ‘Victory Lane Racegear’ Gippsland Challenge extends to be a six round series with Rosedale & Bairnsdale taking on two rounds each and Drouin & Nyora one a piece. Rosedale & Bairnsdale keep the Christmas & Easter double header weekends which have proven popular with competitors in recent years.

‘Intercity Signs’ have confirmed their involvement in the Ladies of the Dirt Challenge series for a second year running & the series increases to four rounds all in May at Darlington, Alexandra, Drouin & Nyora who will hold the final round. The off season rumours suggest a number of drivers have locked in a lady racer to do the series whilst others are putting together cars especially for girls to have a go with through the season & the series.

The season blasts out of the blocks with seven events in November before settling down to six in December and between five and three in other months. There will be $1000 to win events at Swan Hill, Darlington & the Mildura 50 lapper whilst Laang will be putting up a bike for first prize at the “Crossfire Motorcycles’ supported event on January the 4th.

Competitor & businessman Troy Small has been elected the President whilst this seasons' President’s Award' recipient Layton Orchard now becomes the Vice President of the club. Demelza Nettlefold the organiser of the ‘Intercity Signs’ Ladies of the Dirt Challenge becomes secretary & Andy Hughes becomes the treasurer.
