After the successful and exciting opening round of The Aspire Homes AMCA SA Series at the Riverland Speedway in Renmark the state wide series will now head out to the Tolmer Speedway at Bordertown which sits just inside the South Australian and Victorian border. The racy little bull ringed Tolmer venue will play host to round two of the series on Saturday 23rd of February 2013.

Once again it is expected that in excess of 15 of the states best competitors will be there to battle it out for the honours and points up for grabs and with the opening round winner Darren ‘Plugger’ McCarthy being absent due to motor problems this will keep the door open for many of the competitors looking to better their first round efforts.

Going into this round it will be former Australia #2 Mick Brougham who will be the one to beat after his stout performance has landed him second in the point score after the opening round.

Raymond Hedley, Leanne Turner and Mark Horsbrough will also be looking to consolidate from a strong opening round as they round out the top five point scorers. Other drivers to keep an eye on will include the defending series champion Michael Sharpe, Nicole Hill who has shared her seat time between the Bartlett Racing AMCA National and 360 Sprintcar plus veterans Maris Valodze and Brian Chadwick to name a few will all be looking to make back some ground on the leaders.

This round will also see the inclusion of the hot to trot young gun Ryan Alexander and experienced Victorian throttle stomper Frank Thierry joining the action so the mix will make for some exciting racing.

The night’s format will consist of two heats for each competitor and the all important 25 lap final.
