Strong Finish To Jason Kendrick's Season

Jason Kendrick’s development program is starting to pay dividends after the young charger finished his 2009/2010 season off strongly in WA’s North West last weekend.
Kendrick and hired Sydney gun Troy Little contested four nights of racing at Port Hedland and Karratha as the team made its way home from the recent Australian Sprintcar Championship in Darwin.
He was strong in all four feature races but his best performance was his last, leading until he was passed by eventual winner Ryan Farrell in the dying stages.
“It was a good result for Jason,” proud father and team owner Geoff Kendrick said. “He did a lot of racing around the country last summer and it has really fast-tracked his development – he is well on his way.”
“Troy also drove well for us over the four nights, driving the car campaigned for much of the season by Kerry Madsen.”
Kendrick said the team would now have a break for a month or two before upgrading their inventory for next season.
“We won eight feature races this season with Kerry behind the wheel and we went close to winning on quite a few other occasions as well.
“We are looking forward to putting together a big calendar for next year and some announcements on that will be made in the near future.”
Kendrick said a lot of what they achieved last season was made possible by their corporate partners.
“I want to say thank you to all our sponsors for helping out – they have been a massive part of what we have done and we really appreciate their support.
“Without them it would not have been possible.”
The team is looking forward to the AHG Sprintcar Series awards night at the Burswood Watersports Centre this Saturday night.
